Campus Security Report
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), Millennium Beauty Institute publishes an Annual Security Report (ASR) each year by October 1st.
The Annual Security Report includes campus security policies and procedures, crime prevention information, and crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years (2023, 2024, 2025).
A paper copy may be requested from the school administration at no charge.
Campus Security Overview
- The campus entrance is monitored by a Ring security camera system providing 24-hour video surveillance
- All visitors must check in at the front desk during operating hours
- Access during non-operating hours is restricted to authorized personnel
- Students and staff are encouraged to report any criminal activity or safety concerns immediately to school administration
- The school cooperates fully with local law enforcement (Gwinnett County Police Department and Norcross Police Department)

1. Introduction and Purpose In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (20 U.S.C. 1092(f)), commonly known as the Clery Act, Millennium Beauty Institute publishes this Annual Security Report (ASR). This report is distributed to all current students and employees, and is made available to prospective students and employees upon request. The Clery Act requires all postsecondary institutions participating in Title IV federal student aid programs to disclose campus security policies and procedures and to report crime statistics for the institution. This report is published annually by October 1st and covers the three most recent calendar years. Millennium Beauty Institute is a NACCAS-accredited cosmetology school participating in Title IV federal financial aid programs (FAFSA School Code: 043097). The institution operates at a single campus location in Norcross, Georgia.
2. Campus Geography Millennium Beauty Institute operates at a single campus location: 1300 Indian Trail Road, Suite 104, Norcross, GA 30093 The campus consists of classroom space, a student salon open to the public, administrative offices, and common areas, all within a single suite in a commercial building. There is no on-campus student housing. The institution does not have any separate campus locations, branch campuses, or non-campus buildings or properties.
3. Campus Security Policies and Procedures
3.1 Security and Access The campus entrance is monitored during all operating hours. A Ring security camera system is installed at the front desk, providing 24-hour video surveillance and monitoring of the campus entrance. Access to the campus during non-operating hours is restricted to authorized personnel only. Millennium Beauty Institute does not employ campus security personnel or a campus police department. The institution relies on local law enforcement (Gwinnett County Police Department and Norcross Police Department) for emergency response and criminal investigations.
3.2 Reporting Criminal Activity and Emergencies Students, employees, and visitors are encouraged to promptly and accurately report all crimes, emergencies, and safety concerns to the school administration. Reports can be made to: • School Director: Jessie Julien, (678) 888-4170 • Front desk staff during operating hours • In case of emergency, dial 911 immediately All reported incidents are reviewed by the School Director, who determines the appropriate response, including whether to contact local law enforcement. Reports are documented and maintained in confidential records.
3.3 Confidential Reporting If a victim or witness of a crime does not wish to pursue action through the criminal justice system or through the institution, they may still make a confidential report to the School Director. The purpose of a confidential report is to comply with the reporting requirements of the Clery Act while maintaining the confidentiality of the reporting individual. Confidential reports are included in the annual crime statistics disclosed in this report.
3.4 Timely Warnings In the event that a situation arises on campus that, in the judgment of the School Director, constitutes an ongoing or continuing threat to the campus community, a timely warning will be issued. Timely warnings may be distributed via email, text message, posted notices, or verbal announcements, depending on the nature and urgency of the threat.
3.5 Emergency Response and Evacuation Millennium Beauty Institute maintains emergency procedures for responding to threats including fire, severe weather, active threats, and other emergencies. Emergency procedures are reviewed with students during orientation and posted in common areas. The institution will immediately notify the campus community upon confirmation of a significant emergency or dangerous situation. The School Director or designee is responsible for initiating emergency notifications.
4. Security Awareness and Crime Prevention Millennium Beauty Institute promotes safety awareness through the following measures: • Safety and security information is reviewed with all students during the mandatory orientation process • Emergency exit routes and procedures are posted in all classrooms and common areas • Students are encouraged to take personal safety precautions, including securing personal belongings and being aware of their surroundings • The campus entrance is monitored via security camera during all hours • All visitors must check in at the front desk upon arrival
5. Drug-Free Campus Policy In compliance with the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989, Millennium Beauty Institute maintains a drug-free campus. The use, possession, sale, or distribution of illegal drugs or alcohol on school premises or at school-sponsored events is strictly prohibited. This is a drug-free institute. Anyone caught with illegal substances will be dismissed from the school immediately and authorities will be notified. Firearms are not permitted on the premises. Students and employees seeking assistance with substance abuse are encouraged to contact the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357 (free, confidential, 24/7) or the Georgia Crisis and Access Line at 1-800-715-4225.
6. Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking (VAWA) Millennium Beauty Institute prohibits all forms of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking as defined by the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and the State of Georgia.
6.1 Reporting Any student or employee who has been the victim of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking is encouraged to report the incident immediately to the Title IX Coordinator: Jessie Julien, Title IX Coordinator (678) 888-4170 | jespinozambi@gmail.com Victims are also encouraged to contact local law enforcement by dialing 911. The institution will assist victims in contacting law enforcement if requested.
6.2 Institutional Response Upon receiving a report of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking, the institution will provide the victim with a written explanation of their rights and options, including available counseling services, options for changes to academic accommodations, and information about protective orders. The institution will conduct a prompt, fair, and impartial investigation and resolution process.
6.3 Prevention Programs Millennium Beauty Institute has a zero tolerance policy for drugs, sexual harassment, and discrimination. This policy is communicated to all students during orientation and is published in the Student Academic Catalog. The institution promotes awareness of sexual misconduct prevention through its conduct policies and orientation materials.
7. The following crime statistics are reported for the three most recent calendar years for crimes that occurred on campus. Millennium Beauty Institute does not have on-campus student housing, non-campus buildings, or public property immediately adjacent to the campus that is owned or controlled by the institution. Therefore, only on-campus statistics are reported.
