Millennium Beauty Institute
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Millennium Beauty Institute website at millenniumbeautyinstitute.com and the services we offer, including the Student Salon booking system. Please read them carefully. By accessing the Site or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Millennium Beauty Institute
Millennium Beauty Institute ("MBI") is a NACCAS-accredited vocational beauty school located at 1300 Indian Trail Lilburn Rd NW, Suite 104, Norcross, Georgia 30093. MBI is licensed by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers and participates in federal Title IV financial aid programs (FAFSA School Code: 043097).
2. Website Use
The Site and its content are provided for informational purposes about MBI's programs, admissions, Student Salon services, and related educational activities. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You may not:
- Use the Site in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair its operation;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or any system connected to it;
- Use automated tools (scrapers, bots, crawlers) to collect information without express written permission;
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, images, graphics, logos, videos, and course materials — is owned by or licensed to MBI and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Site content without our prior written consent.
4. Enrollment Agreement
4.1 Enrollment Process
Enrollment in any MBI program is formalized through a separate written Enrollment Agreement signed by the student (and parent/guardian if the student is a minor). These Terms supplement but do not replace that Agreement. In the event of any conflict, the signed Enrollment Agreement controls.
4.2 Admissions Requirements
All applicants must provide at the time of enrollment:
- A valid government-issued photo ID;
- A high school diploma, GED certificate, or official college transcripts;
- Completed application and payment of the $35 enrollment fee.
4.3 Program Tuition and Fees
Current tuition, kit costs, and enrollment fees are listed on the Tuition & Financial Aid page and in the Enrollment Agreement. MBI reserves the right to adjust tuition with reasonable advance notice. Students whose enrollment agreements establish a locked tuition rate will not be subject to increases during their current enrollment period.
4.4 Cancellation and Refund Policy
Students have the right to cancel their enrollment agreement and receive a full refund of all charges, except for the non-refundable enrollment fee, if cancellation occurs within 3 business days of signing the Enrollment Agreement and prior to the first day of class.
After the cancellation period expires and after classes begin, refunds will be calculated on a pro-rata basis according to the following schedule:
- Within the first 10% of program hours completed: 90% refund of tuition
- 11%–25% of program hours completed: 75% refund
- 26%–50% of program hours completed: 50% refund
- More than 50% of program hours completed: No refund of tuition.
Kit costs and supply fees are non-refundable once materials have been issued. The non-refundable enrollment fee ($35) is retained in all cases.
Students who withdraw due to a documented medical emergency, active military deployment, or a school-initiated program cancellation are entitled to a full pro-rata refund regardless of the above schedule.
5. Student Salon Booking Policy
MBI operates a Student Salon where licensed cosmetology and esthetics students provide services to the public at discounted rates as part of their hands-on training. By booking a Student Salon appointment, you agree to the following:
5.1 Nature of Services
All services in the Student Salon are performed by students under the direct supervision of licensed instructors. Services are not performed by licensed cosmetologists or estheticians. Results may differ from those of professional salons. By booking, you acknowledge and accept this.
5.2 Eligibility (Hour Gates)
Services may only be booked with students who have met the minimum training-hour requirements mandated by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers:
- Cosmetology services: 250 training hours completed
- Esthetics services: 250 training hours completed
- Nail Care services: 140 training hours completed
- Makeup Artistry services: 200 training hours completed
The booking system automatically enforces these eligibility requirements. MBI reserves the right to cancel or reassign appointments where hour-gate requirements are not met at the time of service.
5.3 Booking Window
Appointments may only be booked during available windows, which vary by class schedule. Services are available on days when the relevant program is in session. Specific available times are displayed in the online booking system at the time of scheduling.
5.4 Cancellation Policy — Clients
We ask that clients provide at least 24 hours' advance notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. To cancel, use the cancellation link in your confirmation email or contact us at (678) 888-4170 or admissions@millenniumbeautyinstitute.com.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) and no-shows prevent students from completing required practice hours. Clients with two or more no-shows within a 90-day period may be restricted from booking future Student Salon appointments at MBI's discretion.
5.5 School Cancellations
MBI reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to school closures (including closures following the Gwinnett County Public Schools calendar), instructor absence, or other unforeseen circumstances. When MBI cancels an appointment, we will notify clients as promptly as possible and offer to reschedule at no charge.
5.6 Payment
Student Salon services are offered at discounted rates. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Current pricing is listed on the Student Salon page.
5.7 No Guarantee of Results
All beauty services involve individual variation and risk. MBI and its students make no guarantee of any specific outcome, result, or aesthetic effect. Clients with known allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, or other health concerns should disclose them to their student and supervisor before services begin.
6. Financial Aid
MBI participates in Title IV federal student financial aid programs (FAFSA School Code: 043097). Financial aid eligibility is determined by the U.S. Department of Education based on information provided in the student's FAFSA. MBI does not guarantee the availability or amount of any financial aid award. Students are responsible for understanding their financial aid obligations, including loan repayment requirements.

IN NO EVENT SHALL MBI'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site and/or communicated to enrolled students. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
