Nail Care
Program Overview
● Provides each student the skills and knowledge to treat, care and perform nail care
services.
● Provides the necessary 525 clock hours needed for the Georgia State Board of
Cosmetology.
● Provides both theory and Practical Instructions that meet the Georgia State Board of
Cosmetology requirements
● 140 theory hours & 385 clinic floor hours
The Nail Care Program at Millennium Beauty Institute is designed to prepare students for a professional career as licensed nail technicians. Through a blend of theory, hands-on training, and practical salon experience, students develop the skills needed to perform high-quality nail services safely and effectively.
The program follows the requirements set by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers, ensuring students are eligible for state licensure upon completion.
Typically consisting of approximately 525 training hours (as required in Georgia), the program can be completed on a flexible schedule, allowing students to balance training with other commitments.

Basic Nail Techniques
Students learn essential manicure and pedicure services, including:
- Classic manicures and pedicures
- Nail shaping, filing, and cuticle care
- Hand and foot massage techniques
- Polish application and removal
Nail Enhancements & Advanced Services
Training includes modern and in-demand nail techniques, such as:
- Acrylic nail application and fills
- Gel nail systems
- Nail tips and overlays
- Nail repair and maintenance
Nail Art & Design
Students develop creativity and precision through nail art training, including:
- Freehand nail art techniques
- Use of embellishments and rhinestones
- Trending nail designs and styles
- Custom client designs
Nail & Skin Care Knowledge
